the end of another month. this one was quite eventful. april will be fun because i have shiokazecon and h&mc to look forward to. but i dunno how march is gonna hold up. i hope something random and exciting comes along and hits me in the face. the most i've got going for me right now is this... and there's no telling if that'll actually arrive by march. i guess i'll take one day at a time and hope for the best. ok i feel like backtracking for my own personal record. on saturday, we celebrated my uncle's bday. i had alot of fun spending time with my nephew (christopher5) and three nieces (amanda8, madison5, and mikey11). our dinner table was fun because we laughed so much. christopher would make up these jokes that made no sense whatsoever. it was hilarious. for once, our table ended up outlasting the ol folks table. usually after dinner, they sit around and talk for a looooooooong time, and we get bored and beg to go home. but this time it was flipped. they actually started rushing us to eat cuz we talked so much. pwnage! it's funny how i've had the AIR photo submission up for about a month and gotten only TWO submissions. i guess i'll end it this weekend. so get your ideas in asap. if not, we'll get to see a head-to-head battle. ::: :::

whoa! steve francis and stephon marbury playing the backcourt for the knicks?!?!? =O this outta be interesting. if they can figure out a way to share the ball with each other, this could be fun to watch. also, penny went back to orlando! yay! now nike can go back to releasing the original colors when they retro his stuff. hehe..it's all about the shoes for me =P ::: :::

woke up early AGAIN. late nights and early mornings are starting to wear me down. but today pau gasol kept me awake. he's a kool dude. oh btw, i got asked to help him and arturo (nba trainer/former pro) with the clinic. pau gasol's funny. he just had these funny expressions, and he enjoyed playing with the kids. he seems down to earth, and it's comforting to know our money goes to good ppL like him. i couldn't get a picture cuz i was on duty =P later on, we got beno udrih, guard of the san antonio spurs. he seemed like a normal guy. nothing special. in the nba store, i saw sheryl swoopes with her kids. no biggie. since my friend was busy, i decided to just head back towards home. i tutored paul, and now i'm sitting here deciding if i should pass out or stay awake. ***** added ***** thanx kai for inviting us over to watch the all-star game. staring at anson staring at the tv screen was hilarious. t-mac would've won mvp if the west had won. lebron and wade tore it up in the 3rd quarter. i wish the game tied, so we could go into OT and watch more. surprisingly, kobe didn't do much. then again, ppL would've called him a ballhog if he did since it appears that way on the lakers. two funniest moments: 1) western starters intro...they did the wave, and yao got to shake it. 2) shaq throwing up an alley-oop on his free throw...hahaha clown. ::: :::

this day started off on a stupid note...my stupid note. georgetown was beat by the tarheels due to jordan's game winning shot. by missing that question, i did NOT get a free jordan jacket, t-shirt, pants, and ajxxi's. idiot here...sigh =\ anywayz, i headed over to jam session to help out. nenad krstic from the new jersey nets was our guest nba player. i didn't know who he was...ah well. after my shift, i walked around and stumbled across a clinic held by allan houston, jeff van gundy, and becky hammon. i wanted to get my friend some starbucks and heard it was somewhere in the building, so i went on a hunt to look for it. i ended up in an area near some escalators. next thing you know, kobe, ray allen, kg, tmac, yao, and dirk walk right past me =O talk about random and krazy! i didn't wanna flash them with my camera cuz that's annoying, so i just did video instead. later on, a few of the guys showed up and i walked around with them. at the nba 2k6 booth, we found chris paul...prospective 2006 rookie of the year. the kid's got one of those normal-looking faces. he could totally blend into the crowd with no one noticing. in the nba store, i chilled out for awhile and came across eric snow and manute bol!!! again, i did video cuz they don't like all the attention when they're shopping. the time flew by, and it was time to head home and get everyone for the jordan 21 release party. we got there around 830pm and checked out all the showcases. he's doing charity for the katrina relief. the twenty-one autographed jordans are currently auctioning at $425k. later that evening, jadakiss and styles p came out to rap. too bad i didn't really listen to their music. nevertheless, it was still entertaining. and that pretty much finalizes the evening. ::: :::

today started out really nice when i found a parking meter right next to the convention center AND 10hrs had already been paid for =O i pretty much did the same thing as yesterday with the fedex booth. my fingers hurt from the grippy balls =P four hrs on my feet was so painful, but it quickly disappeared when i met up with my new friend again. too bad it didn't last very long cuz of reassignment =\ ah well there's always tomorrow. oh yea i met big tigger (host of rapcity on bet) in the nba store...home of my new friend =] afterwards, i had to head to chinatown area to meet up wiht a client and present the 2nd phase. things went pretty well in my opinion. hopefully i'll get the second payment soon. i made a pretty huge dent in my acct =X next i headed to active athlete for the mike jones appearance. he was real koo and down to earth even though he was stunning that ginormous "ice age" diamond bling on his necklace. that thing must've weighed a ton. there was an interview about the new rbk shoes that mike jones endorses. it was hosted by street flava's d-solo. i think the show will be airing in about 2 weeks. besides the t-shirt, they also gave us a free fanny pack and water bottle. yesterday they handed out some calendar, but it wasn't much to me. i wonder if we'll get more tomorrow =] i could be at this $100/ticket rbk party which i got free tickets to again, but i couldn't think of anyone i'd know or hang out with. and i'm way too tired to dance. at the moment, standing is a problem. lastly, here's a preview of tomorrow...and jason will suck too ::: :::

i picked up ajxxi release party tix for saturday, but i'll discuss that later when it actually happens. afterwards, i headed to the all-star jam session and got my volunteer shirt. then i found out that i was helping out at a shooting contest station. six spots in one minute. each day there's supposedly an nba player that will come through and run a small clinic. today we got andrew bogut. after that i hung with stanley and je alittle in the nba store. oh yea, i made a new friend =] anywayz, around 8:00 i went to a club for a special kobe event. i got to ask him a question about bball...pretty kool. oh yea when we walked in, they handed each of us one of these... there was a shoe design contest for the zk1. there were nikeid studios set up for zk1's which was only limited to "special" ppL =P. there was alot of talking, so i sneaked off to the side and took a pic with john lucas. i called him coach...hehee after the interview, ppL mobbed kobe for autographs and pictures. i got my hat signed XD since everyone was so stuck on kobe, i decided to track down ken link (the designer of the zoom kobe I). he was pretty kool. he also has an unshakeable smile in the same proximity, i got a chance to chitchat with bobbito garcia. he's a kool dude. they're gonna take the second season of It's The Shoes international. it'll be fun seeing exposure of shoes in other countries....especially japan!!! he liked my shirt /no1 overall it was a fun day. i realized something interesting about myself. i don't really get starstruck. seeing a celebrity is kool and all, but it doesn't freeze me up or anything. i'd much rather talk to em. that's why it was kool talking to ken and bobbito. but i'd have to say the highlight of today was making a new friend. ::: :::

so much gas used up today *sigh* but i guess it was worth it. first i met up with a website client. they seem very interested, so hopefully i can put together a good presentation for them. afterwards, i headed to pg to pick up my pass to the nike basketball event with kobe tomorrow night. bobbito garcia's gonna be there too. i'm glad the nike rep came through. after that, i headed to aa to take some new pics. lots of All-Star apparel and i got a chance to try on the XXI's. even though the All-Star AF1's are insanely nasty, i bet they'll sell out in hours. they match with the harlem globetrotters uniforms =X Active's doing a mike jones/rbk party friday night. but the bigger news is the special event going on saturday morning @ 7am. a limo will come by and randomly pick out ppL standing in line for AJXXI's and ask em jordan-related trivia questions. the winner will be driven in the limo to a "jordan showcase" to get free apparel and free AJXXI's. three locations are doing this. of the three, a grand prize winner will be chosen to go to a jordan party later that night...and you KNOW that's gonna be hype! so i'm deciding whether or not i wanna wake up that early =P anyone wanna go with me? worst case scenario...you get to meet big tigger...oops i've said too much. ok on to the hype of this entire weekend....ALL-STAR JAM SESSION!!! many ppL have asked me about date/times and what it's gonna be like, so hopefully this information will be helpful. today we went to zuma, formerly known as celebration station. it's amazing how that business survived for so long. the perfect word to describe its current state is GHETTO. however i will admit that i enjoyed the ol skool games. it's not easy to find street figher champion edition, x-men, wrestlemania, and mortal kombat all in the same place. yesternight was really fun. i caught chs' musical performance of Cabaret. the old couple got my standing-O for acting and singing well. i especially liked the pineapple song (It Couldn't Please Me More). the main female role is also very talented. i liked the performance by the MC for "Sitting Pretty". there were some krazy fast lyrics in that song. the choreography and wardrobe for the kit kat klub was well done too. it's fun watching hs performances cuz you get to sit as close as you want =] ::: :::

FINALLY i get to sit still. alright lemme backtrack alittle... yesterday [02.08] i went to a special kobe event at premium goods. feb8th @ 8pm, 88 t-shirts, 8 pairs given out.... 4 white/purple/yellow lasered kobe's were raffled off to the t-shirt holders. 4 black/purple/white lasered kobe's were put up for silent auction. they each came in a wooden box. it was quite the nice presentation. but of course i didn't win. i never have luck with these things. anywayz, it was a big ordeal because slim thug and his crew showed up, lil keke was silently chillin off to the side, there was a DJ mixin, drinks were served, nike reps showed up, professional photographers and videographers were there, and they revealed the colorway of the 81pts shoe. it would've been nuts if he scored 88pts. one of the nike reps handed me this nike chain near the end...nice guy sunday [02.05] 50 chicken nuggets...rawr!!! the guys' bball was so fun to watch this week. it was quite competitive. and tam's new nickname is now "the fashion show" cuz he always dresses up all nice and stuff for bball. and anson is M&M for malaysian monster. duuuuuuuude....he's so big! sunday was also the opening day for girls' bball. yall rock! day one was really good. looks like it's gonna be a fun season. toni, who we've known for being the awesome tennis player, has a hidden lisa leslie talent. and thesniki has a rebounding instinct...which is rare. most ppL muscle their way around boxing out to get rebounds, but not this kid...she comes flying outta nowhere. she grabbed 7 rebs and 1 assist....good job /no1 saturday [02.04] bball in the morning as usual. hotdogs at jonathan's. then off to TRACK21!!!! it was soooo fun XD it's so much more fun than driving a real car...because you feel like you're going alot faster and you get to make krazy turns that you never get to do in reality...unless you become a real racer. i'm determined to go back and beat my fastest lap time of 26.933 seconds /no1 afterwards, we headed to IPC to eat and play free games...muhahahaa. oh em gee...niki beat some kid. she busted out ken's fire uppercut and fireball =O after that, we shot around on her driveway. she's quite the banker, and the most ANIMEted person i know. oh yea, here's a pic of us with our helmets on =] friday [02.03] white purple-striped buttonup shirt = $10 long-sleeved black shirt = $5 long-sleeved grey shirt = $5 thursday [02.02] allstar weekend is coming soon. and of course nike capitalized on the lebron marketing. supposedly only ohio(lebron's home) and houston(allstar) got these special releases. i picked up a few for profit. ::: :::

quite the productive week for me...so far i haven't cracked =P even though it's technically wednesday, it's still chooseday to me. i went to active today to take pics of clothing. the LRG stuff is starting to grow on me. good thign it's too expensive for me to make an impulse buy. afterwards, i went to "play". every time i have to make up stuff, it always end up being funny. i need to figure out a serious side. anywayz, tomorrow i gotta head out to naturebest at 900am for a website meeting. then on thursday, i have another meeting with sb at 1100am. but it'll only be an hour so that's not too bad. all this website updating is keeping me pretty busy. oh yea, i haven't chilled outside this week yet. i need to remember to do that. i wouldn't wanna let this weather go to waste. oh man, nba allstar weekend is next next week already! i need to figure out my scheduling for volunteering and making trips to active. hopefully i'll get to blow up my camera that weekend =] * note to self: find a good joke (anyone know one?) oh yea, the moks came over to do hw again last week. i enjoy their random visits whether it be jogging, biking, or studying... and once again, we know who the studious one is... ::: :::
