today: work on AA site, wash clothes, review stuff, ttr, work on NB site i have a strange feeling that stress is gonna hit me this week. i hope i find time to enjoy the weather...assuming it doesn't get crappy. recap of the weekend: [ friday ] -- 900pm - arrive at the mall; watch black cat on vipod -- 1000pm - dmac arrives and keeps me company (time flies when we talk) [ saturday ] -- 130am - stanley brings chicken nuggets (thanx btw); moks arrive to camp out too -- 230am - drew and his friends arrive; some of them got into the mall somehow but later got kicked -- 600am - security arrives. more ppL get kicked for sneaking in. security hands out numbers...i'm #1 =] -- 700am - security let in 3-4 ppL at a time; i got gabe's. jason got mine (thanx man!) -- 730am - drop off dmac and crash at home -- 930am - stanley wakes me up for bball -- 1000am - play ball till 100pm -- 130pm - bebe makes halfcourt lunch-deciding shot -- 200pm - eat at double dave's; buffalo chicken pizza = awesome -- 400pm - head home to switch into one car (jon's); drive to church to pickup wallet -- 450pm - go to ipc w/ stanley, jonathan, and je; free games all over the place -- 630pm - go to la fitness to play ball and workout; my legs can push 405lbs with ease =O -- 800pm - go to panera for dinner -- 930pm - go home, shower, watch anime, crash at ??? time [ sunday ] -- 1030am - church -- 100pm - lunch at wendy's -- 130pm - check out chinese new year stuff at church -- 300pm - go to gabe's to watch rockets/heat game -- 630pm - dinner with fam at pappadeaux -- 945pm - mahjong in england; been awhile so that was fun -- 1100pm - go home and crash ::: :::

new AP is up! the new layout seems very spread out. i like how it shows your increase/decrease in rank. now i have more motivation to think of new ideas. jason, niki, and i are flawless. jon's lurking, and toni's comatose...hahahaha! if you search around, there are alot of funny titles. alright so finishline opens at 7am tomorrow. i don't mind sitting in line like black friday, but the big question is...what time will everyone else start lining up? being in a mall makes it tricky too because you dunno which entrance to line up at. when you see gabriel rockin those jordan XI's, be sure to remind him of all the stuff i'm doing hahahaa! oh right, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABRIEL!!!!! ::: :::

there will be mobbage at stores this saturday due to these. local chains on avg will get about 20packs per store...which means about 2 of each size =O. so far i know of a store around here opening at 7am, and a small boutique elsewhere opening at midnight. i'm curious to see what time ppL will begin lining up. my mission that day will strictly be focused on upholding my agreement with gabriel. let the insanity begin... (personally i'm more excited about the nikeID am90's coming out XD) ::: :::

-- bball 10:00 - 1:00 -- lunch at Quiasdfasdf -- chilled at coco's -- crashed -- carol's bday party at cici's -- karaoke in k-town was fun. there's nothing better than watching ppL sing/scream at the top of their lungs =] -- came home to hold em. overall it was a really fun day. one of the best saturdays i've had in a long time. oh yea, it's technically sunday now so....HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROL!!!! now go do your calc hw =P ::: :::

-- got up at 6am again -- rode out to the strand with joe and cynthia -- got fitted like yesterday -- waited for the set to be built in an alley -- rode a bike filled with veggies in a basket across the camera -- walked around a run-down market holding a tray of lettuce -- walked around the same market w/ joe; stood next to "the girl" -- ate chinese for lunch -- sat around for awhile -- went back and repeated scene with wide angle -- ate subway for dinner -- came home -- peter came over to burn dvd's -- watched mulholland drive (naomi watts performed well, but the script was very broken.) -- crashed. ::: :::

-- got up at 6:00am -- rode out to galveston with cynthia and kylie -- got fitted for wardrobe -- played a villager picking food around a marsh. elson carried justin on his back. -- walked along a levy in the background with joe while mr. lay-su gave his confucious line to the boys. $22k for the arm and $100k for the vest =O -- ate lunch. of course, shawn got glued to my gameboy >< -- johnny and i carried a log. we got to wear sakkats =] -- justin got good at catching a football. -- rode back with johnny and emily -- came home, ate, and watched YJ ep2 -- crashed till 4am -- woke up, ate, watched YJ ep3 -- slept for an hour and here i am getting rdy to go for Day 2 ::: :::

here's a nike laptop bag. can you guess the inspiration for the bag? i only know a couple of you who have them. hint: you have the same bday =P after convincing jonathan to get one, i completely forgot to get one myself. so i went in yesterday and picked one up after dropping 80 on the bball machine...rawr! sigh...they ran outta footballs =\ ::: :::

i attempted to sleep early...well earlier....at midnight. i end up waking up at 400am >< too many things on my mind... nike is going to release a new shoe called Air Max 360 on the 21st. they've finally created a shoe that's completely sitting on air. first they'll start out with running shoes, and maybe crosstrainers and bball shoes will be released. even asia has capitalized on this release by making random things to create buzz. mission of the day: get out of here --- edited -- since i'm already on the topic of weird nike stuff. check out these chocolate dunks =P ::: :::

alot of weird things happened today. for one thing, we wrapped anson in saran wrap for his bday. he looked like a cocoon. anson: "you americans are mad!!!" there was also the circus acts of alex and jeremy. i'll let the pics speak for themselves. oh btw, there were no photoshop tricks applied to these pics. just add alittle pixie dust and check out what they can do! ::: :::

teachers, friends, and family have suggested to set a goal and work towards it. i set a goal once. i did not achieve it. the goal was too big, or that's what i thought. i realize now that i never really understood the steps it took to reach the goal. lately, i've noticed that i have this problem with most of my goals...at least the ones that matter in life. to tell you the truth, i feel dumb. i feel like i missed something during my hs and college education. i always hear of people knowing what they want and going after it. i want to know how to "go after it". i've only confidently done it once in my life. and it was basketball. i've lost more battles than i've won. i've experienced more physical pain than joy from this game, but it was worth it. why? because i learn. i learn to create my own path towards the goal. in the same way, i have to be willing to experience failure. my ego has no say in this. i still don't know the steps to take in order to reach my goal. that lack of knowledge has kept me from moving. but that never kept me from the game of basketball, so why should this be any different? so where did this all come from? well my mind usually wanders, and i misguide myself when in solitude but not this time. i decided to run....run alone. when you jog, you normally look ahead and fix your eyes on the destination. but because the cement was uneven, i didn't want to accidentally step into a crack and twist my ankle. so i found myself looking down at the ground. i would look at each block of cement that came before me. yea imma weirdo. but it caused me to reflect and think about how i got to this state, and as a result you had to read another texty post. ok here's a random pic. it's kinda interesting how there's 3 shoes on there. ::: :::
