i got my stitches removed today, but it didn't seal up as well as it should have. so i've got some bandage strips on there to hold it together till it's done healing. oh yea, i finally got back on aim yesterday after getting off for about two months. i guess the phone isn't being utilized to its fullest capability nowadays due to the internet. i can't imagine what they'll think of next. before you know it, aim will be the second best form of communication.

V for Vendetta = excellent movie do not read this section if you're gonna watch the film: ( i don't wanna influence your view of the film. ) [[ it's not easy to take something so fictitious and make it believable. i guess the plot's possibility of becoming a reality makes it convincing. first off, major props to hugo weaving for his voice acting. facial expression is a huge part of acting. to take that out and still portray wit, happiness, and sadness is remarkable. and of course, ya gotta love natalie portman. i liked her quirkiness in garden state. and this film shows that she has a good control of her emotions. for a woman to shave her head, it's a huge statement of commitment and dedication...so much love for being true to the art. i also enjoyed this film's portrayal of the near future. it was neither here nor too far ahead there...if that makes any sense. i guess it was the in btwn. ]]
today was a long day, but as i had mentioned before people make it easier. oh yea, i realized today that st. patrick's day doesn't seem like such a big deal during spring break. when i was in hs, getting pinched for not wearing green on this day was the biggest thing. but when it falls on spring break, no one goes to school and sees each other. so the pinching ceases to exist. of course maybe this is just the perspective of a non-irish. i'm sure in the more festive parts of town, green beer is the major tradition. alright i've got some work to finish up before turning in, so uhhhh.... ok

i suppose i have something worth mentioning now. this past weekend was krazy busy, but i'm thankful that kool people make day-to-day activities alot easier. on friday, i had the opportunity to try pakistani food for the first time. man, it was soooo good...especially the sauce! too bad i dunno the name of it =\
on saturday, i got smacked once across the face which gave me a cut above my right eye and another cut near my eye. a few minutes later, i got elbowed on the right eye which made an open wound and started to bleed. hit twice on the same eye in the same day...what're the chances?!?!?
yesterday, i played ball again and bumped heads with ivan. he got a huge lump above his eye, and i ended up getting seven stitches above my left eye. so now i've got cuts on both sides of my face =P on top of all this, i went in to the hospital for a screening to see if i can get laser surgery on my eye. they must've thought i was nuts with all these cuts. needless to say, it's been an interesting experience.
oh yea, today i saw caroline and agnes for the first time in ages. caroline's studying for some board exam, and i dunno what agnes is up to. it's weird seeing ppL from the past. it always forces me to compare, and sometimes there's a sense of embarrassment. oh right, this saturday i may end up feeling like that. oh well, life goes on...
i'd show pics of the stitches except it might gross some of you out, so i'll withstand from doing that.
