ok the day got interesting around 430pm. my mom yells downstairs and says "hey there's a girl at our front door!" after walking closer to the door, she goes "oh it's jason!" i started cracking up cuz i thought she actually saw jason as a girl. but then it turned out being jennifer too. as a nice gesture for my bday, they decided to come over and do their hw in my room >< they even came over wearing pajama pants and carrying their backpacks, so i knew they weren't joking about hw...
not too surprised about who the studious one is...oh!

yea it may be strange that they came over to do hw, but it felt really good having them there. precal, calc, healthy food, bsb, and talking about shoes was fun. oh btw, i found the missing piece of my keyboard. it fell into the paperholder of my printer. another victim to the falling keyboard slideout thingy.

at 6pm, my family and i went out to eat sashimi and sushi. i'll never get sick of that stuff. sooooo good. the japanese pwn us in technology AND food. during dinner, i realized that i left my bball shoes at home. we were gonna head to church right after dinner. so i decided that i would go home real quick before teh food came. then stanley gives me this look. it's that look he has when he's up to something sneaky. it turns out that my mom and him had collaborated on getting me the iversons and hiding them in my trunk. (that's what my mom was doing when yall were leaving my house). while i'm on the topic, i might as well show the gifts i got.

the first one was given to me back in october...which you may remember. it's a wallpaper of kurosaki ichigo. talk about utilizing alot of brushes and photoshop skillz. i could go on and on about all the different details i see. thanx niki for the hard work! XD i'm definitely gonna make it a favorites on AP! also, thanx for the buddy icon too. tensu ichigo is tiiiight!

on sunday, jLoh gave me the C&CF DVD. it's a strange movie. but if you're like me and lex, you'll laugh through the whole thing and say "what the crap!??!" alot. thanx jeffrey! also, the moks (or maybe just jason) got me the new jordan book. that corndog thought it'd be funny to disguise it with one of his textbook covers. after opening it in front of me, those two clowns started going "oh! oh! oh! what's that? oh!" silly kids =P thanx for the book =D and as i had mentioned earlier, my brother and friends(which have yet to claim credit) bought me a pair of shoes. i played in them tonight. i'm happy to say that the auto-pump is quite effective. the shoe became snug around the ankle after running up the court once. so thank you everyone!

after bball, i went outside and found my car wrapped completely in saran wrap. i got pwned by sam and jonlai. you two are dead. actually i'm kinda glad it wasn't bebe. finding pee on a door handle would've been an unpleasant experience. thanx for the pwnage gesture! check out jon's attempt to draw a shoe on my window...

that was ALOT of saran wrap!!! there's a huge ball of it sitting in my trunk rigth now. that stuff really sticks! ah man, i gotta wash my car tomorrow, or else ppL will stare at me on the road. sigh.

oh yea, so after that, sam, conrad, and i headed to BJ's to chill out. they've got some pretty good food there....and all we had were appetizers. a shot of three wisemen...blam! that felt good. overall, it was a good day....thanx to friends and family. i started receiving calls near the end of the night. it's nice to hear voices of the ppL i care aobut. thanx for making this year's better than the last. you have no idea...

woke up at 8am today. good thing the coughing temporarily stopped, or else the meeting would've sucked. the client seemed to like my ideas, so hopefully we can keep the ball rolling and $$$ for me. afterwards, i met up with family for lunch at la madeleine. usually i only know to order ONE thing....chicken friand w/ lots of mushroom sauce *drool*...but not today. i froze when the lady said they didn't have it. so i chose the next best thing...salmon friand? let's just say it doesn't compare =P at least i topped it off with a chocolate eclair for dessert.

the rest of the day was so-so i guess. i tried out metal slug cuz wilfred lent it to me. then i napped till ttr time. after jumping from integrals to adding/subtracting/multiplying radicals and graphing square roots, i headed home. there was an ebay auction to scope out, so i ate dinner and flipped channels till it was game time. i made the call to my bro and within 10min, a deal was made. hopefully they get sent soon. i'll post pics when it arrives. i guess this continues my self-gifting tradition which i started last year with my "hole". oh yea, i gotta mention the kool stuff ive gotten so far...i'll save it for the next post since i'm tired...thanx to all the midnight aimers, the three sites that i've seen so far, and the two awesome phone calls. i guess i value voices more than text...

oh btw, J&G have a peanut in case you didn't know...

this past week wasn't exactly the best. but it's expected. for the past few years, something unpleasant always seems to hit around the end of november for me. i'm not moping or anything. it's just an observation. this year, i got sick...like REALLY sick. the kind that makes your head pound when you cough. the kind that makes your body so weak that you can't even sit up. the kind that makes you reflect on life. i'm usually tolerant when it comes to physical pain, but this wasn't the kind you could endure. so how did this happen? hahahaa...

bestbuy's black friday sale! actually i'd probably say it was God's way of punishing me for being angry. but that's subject to questioning, so we'll go with teh more obvious explanation. actually i was already sick before i went, but it was tameable at the time. sitting in line from 1030 - 500, running around the store getting stuff till about 700, and then eating at IHOP afterwards is not exactly the wisest thing to do when you're on the verge of sickness. but hey, it was part of the game to me. no pain no gain right? i was asked if it was all worth it afterwards. my answer is yes. why? because i was happy to get a dvd burner and a 200gb hd. even though i was coughing and sneezing my head off near the end of it, i was happy to see my friends happy. to see all of you smiling with the stuff you got reminded me of little kids opening presents on christmas morning. i even gave up my bed when i came home cuz it didn't matter. thanx to jonathan, peter, alex, niki, and her dad for being there. my friends were happy, and that's good enough for me.

alright so my health suffered abit, and i didn't get the traditional thanksgiving dinner that i ALWAYS want. but i received something that you can't place a value on. as i lay in bed with the inability to move a muscle, i heard a voice downstairs maybe around 6pm or so. actually i heard a few other voices, but that ONE stood out. if yall know melody, you know what i'm talking about. it turns out that my bro, je, joyce, and melody were downstairs cooking a "thanksgiving" dinner. i was told that the restaurant belonged to the guys, and melody slept >< basically it was a dinner with everything but the turkey. i can't believe some of you have never had turkey stuffing before *gasp* ....deprived children! and yea the cranberry sauce was outta place cuz well....it's purpose is to neutralize the salty turkey taste. and without a turkey, it was a bowl of jello...hahahah. and i can't believe yall don't eat pumpkin pie!!! where's the heritage? but i have to say...that strudel-covered pumpkin pie was awesome! *drool* shoooot imma go down and eat it right now XD

the next day even turned out eventful. in the morning, we paid our respects and momentary farewells to our dear friend Mr. Tony Lai. i say momentary because i'm gonna see him later. if there's one memory that i'd say about Uncle Tony, it would definitely be his sense of humor. it was quiet and subtle. it was the kind of humor that would put a big fat smile on my face. for those of you who don't know, he was a baller too. he had a no-look pass that i never caught on to. and i remember his sharp elbows nailing me every time he boxed me out for a rebound. and it goes without saying that he has a HUGE heart. he's one of those ppL that you could try to dislike, but you could never do it. alright i could go on, but this isn't meant to be a tearjerker. i just felt like reminiscing alittle.

after the service and stuff, we went to chinatown to eat lunch. there was bathroom wall-banging, pig ears, je's untouched bowl of food, jeremy's monday night football chant, melody's boog *ahem*, and the letter V which will remain closed in our vault. it sounds like alot of stuff happened, but when you're poppin pills your brain picks up on alot of random stuff. after eating, we went to old navy cuz of the massive sales. shortly after, we met up with jonathan at the mall. hey man, we should be wear-testers for nike. you tried on AJ V.5 and AJ XX. i tried on Answer IX's. and we walked out with nothing! hahahah! oh but wait till first week of december....muhahahah! alright i just had a short convo with jonathan just now huh? ok yes imma tard. i know shuttup. well here's a preview of feet to come...

you would think that i'd be sleeping in bed by now, but noooo there was a Rockets game to go to! yao dropped 30pts. bulls beat us. je's got next. jeremy got pwned by bird poo. i got to spend time with some cousins. DA was wearing fire red III's /gg ah cwap, i went off on shoes again. ok that was pretty much the end of saturday, and your eyes are getting tired from all the text.

P.S. and yes, the bears are back =] i switch em every time i get sick.

i just wrote three paragraphs about how yesterday was a huge smack in the face. and then i decided to erase it. i guess writing it helped me find direction...somehwat. it started out something like this...

"have you ever made a mistake?... have you ever not been forgiven for that mistake? well that helpless feeling sucks."

hmm it's kinda weird quoting yourself. anywayz, i never got to punch anything. instead i decided to talk it out with a friend. i wasn't looking for any resolution. i just needed to get the anger and frustration out. good thing it wasn't a bball day. i don't wanna be someone who relies on physical exertion to release emotion. ok so, what's with the frustration? well when someone closes a door on you, what would you do? in this case, i already knwo why, and i've decided to turn around and walk away. but now it's a matter of where i will walk to.....story of my life. i envy those who have a passion...a purpose...direction. go full force with it. that's what i would do. if you get knocked over, get up and try harder. it's pointless to go halfway on something you're passionate about. how can i relate? basketball. that's what i do when i wanna win bad enough. i've been hit. i've bled. and that's what makes the victory that much sweeter. too bad i haven't come across an occupation that even comes close to this desire. so in the meantime, the dollar bill is my motivation. this is probably the source of my frustration. but i look forward to having a daughter one day, so this is for you kid.

surprisingly, i woke up this morning at 900.....to a business call. while still in sleepy mode, i received an entire shpeel (no need to look that up cuz it's not real) on how email is not the best form of communication when sending the initial proposal to a client. so that got me thinking about the route i had been taking with my own endeavors. they say to ONLY contact them through email..and not phone. well screw that cuz that's not working. since i figured i had nothing to lose, i decided to call....and call....and call. there's no happy ending to this story because i left a msg on the answering machine. and if she replies, then i have something to talk about later =] if not, i'll hunt her down /gg

so now i'm up earlier than usual, and the first thing my body wants is food. for some reason i lost track of time and grabbed whatever looked like lunch food in the fridge. halfway into scarfing it down, i realized that it was 1030. oh man, this is gonna kill me later ><

the clock reads 1110, and i gotta keep myself busy with errands or else i'll knock out and not wake up again till evening =P if you see me online, smack me or something. oh btw if you know who Phil Jackson is, here's a good read by Scoop Jackson. also, i wish i could give miho a big hug cuz she's so sad in the latest MT (yes i know it's not real =P). and i can also relate to yukito in always wanting to help misuzu, so she could be happy. alright time to go dep the checks, pump the tires, and hax the hair. ah great i'm gonna trip and fall at ball tonight cuz i didn't get enough rest....gaooo!

again there was alot of spontaneity during the weekend. starting on thursday, we played tackle football and tore up alot of tshirts. i've forgotten how good it feels to nail ppL /gg afterwards, we randomly decided to take jason out to olive garden. peach tea, bread sticks, soup, lasagna = fat and full =]

friday had alot of running around. first it started with creaming jason and friends at their bday party. then i headed to talent show rehearsal to join one of the funnest crews i've ever worked with. shortly after, i joined family for nicolas' bday dinner. i wish i could've hung out with them longer, but ts rehearsal calls. i went back adn ended up staying there till about 1am. awesomeness! green tea fobby drinks rock!!! the next morning i missed yet anoterh nba fantasy draft =P

saturday's main focus was the evening. there were little bumps along the way, but overall the show was great! i just realized that i haven't sat in the audience for a long time =O after TS2005, i only went after one thing....more green tea drinks!!! it's like an endless supply!

family comedy of the week (talking to 5-yr old cousin):
me: so christopher, how old are you?
christopher: five!
me: and how old is amanda (his sister)?
christopher: eight!
me: so who's older?
christopher: (pauses)...umm...mom!
