FINALLY i updated the Images section with the NEW LIQUID photo submissions. you know what to do =] today was fun again. i worked on some alg2, sat stuff, alg1, and precal. doing this much in a day really reminds me of how much i enjoy helping ppL. i'd do it for free, but then my parental units might kick me >< after nerding, i came home and enjoyed thrashing mvp's, questing for valkyrie (looks so koool), and taking castles!!! rawr!!! even though we can't defend em, it was still fun figuring out woe and taking some castles. gotta catch up to all these 255ers =P ::: :::

last few days have been quite eventful. let's see if i can remember... FRI-SAT :: spent the night at church due to the rita scare. our room ended up becoming the local internet cafe. ro, bball, peacemaker, hold'em was all good fun, but being with the ppL you care about was probably the most enjoyable part of it. thankfully, our homes were fine when we returned. SAT :: came home, showered, crashed. rayK and i wanted to do something, so we decided to go outside and enjoy the nice weather. oh right, rayK, tam, vinsanity, d-mac, kai, doulos, and i headed out to the baseball field to hit. that was fun because there was nothign competitve about it. i just remember laughing alot. SUN :: joint service; the speaker found that the one thing that pulled him out of the disease of chemical dependency was jesus christ. it caused me to think of all the other "dependencies" we have in life. for lunch, it was hilariously chaotic. fast food places ONLY opened their drive-thru windows, soooooo we ended up lining up at taco bell. if you need a graphic image to see what it was like, ask rayK. he took pics with his new orangy cam. we all ended up at sam's place to eat and hang out. since we didn't have an actual baseball game the day before, we decided to try it agian but with more ppL. we discovered that pitching is really hard. right after baseball, we played alittle tag football. man i was pretty exhausted afterwards, and strangely i was in a bad mood. but carl fixed that. she ended up wanting to do calculus at 900pm. hahah so ttring cheered me up abit. yes me nerd i know. MON :: started off the morning with some good ol' fashion kickball. this would be three days in a row i've gone out to that field. it was fun. it's kinda hard for it not to be fun with sarah around. even when we were losing, it was just funny to hear her taunt us by yelling out the score. goofball. after kickball, we went to cici's to gain all the weight we had lost =] i'm happy to say that i can't eat as much as i used to. afterwards, i joined jon and joey for the *ahem* awesomest movie in the world! let's just say we were looking to see who would fall asleep first. ah well. it was still fun hangin out with them. and peacemaker made up for it. ahhhh so sad....ayu-nee =[ afterwards i came home to an empty house. it's weird because i still turn the music down even though i know no one else is in the house. overall, today was fun...again because of the people. ::: :::

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot! The world forgetting, by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind! Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd -- alexander pope blessed are the forgetful: for they get the better even of their blunders. -- nietzsche if you had the power to choose a bad memory and erase it, would you? i don't have any awe-inspiring insight to that question. i just watched the movie, and it made me think. the bad experiences, along with the good, shape who we are and what we've become. i think the answer to that question is directly related to our current status. if you're unhappy with your life right now, then your answer would be yes... and vice versa. i think it's also related to pain. sometimes we feel as though we've experienced unnecessary hurt in our lives....dismissing the fact that God is sovereign. after realizing the bigger picture, then our focus should be on our reaction to the pain. what do you do with it? i'll leave that one up to James 1:2 -- on a lighter note, i ended up ttring krist at the lims. when alfred came home, he brought sushi. *drool* we all ended up talking about rollercoasters since melis and chels found out on the news that astroworld was gonna close down...booo! =[ ::: :::

it's funny how three volleyball games can keep me at church practically all day. i can't imagine how sam did it. i only stayed from 1000 to 400. well it was fun learning new strategies to the game. i was trying really hard to remember what i learned last year, but i was thrown off by the fact that we only ran with 5 players >< i hope i can get better for the team. when we lose, i start counting all the pts i give up =P tips to self: -- back up for the spike before teh setter sets it -- angle arms forward when blocking spikes -- cover the middle when in the back oh yea, congrats to SUPERTONIKINS for winning the SCHOOL photo submission! thank you everyone for voting! this was one of the more competitive ones cuz of all the interesting submissions =] ::: :::

whoa, the votes are pouring in pretty fast. keep em coming! oh yea, i've gotten questions about the topic for the next photo submission. i will announce the topic this upcoming sunday, so get rdy to bust out those cameras again =] in other news, i'm getting fat....hahaha. i used to wonder how ppL who used to be skinny got so large. i'm pretty sure it's because of metabolism. if i continue to eat whatever i want whenever i want, i should expect to see strong sad in the mirror one day =P but at the same time, i can't really imagine a giganto steven. hmm but that would improve my post-up game =P in other other news, one of my monitors has problems. it's really dark compared to the other, so i havne't been using it. i had forgotten what it was like to use a single monitor. i'm having to minimize my buddy list and winamp alot more. and when ppL msg me while i'm watching scrubs, it's hard to do both at the same time >< oh yea, if any of you find a song called bittersweet by kanye west and john mayer, lemme know. it's so hard to find =P ::: :::
